Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy

Last updated: March 24, 2026

1. Zero Tolerance

Gettit maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, solicitation of minors, and any content that sexualizes or endangers children.

2. Age Restriction

Gettit is strictly limited to users aged 18 and older. We enforce this through:

  • Mandatory date of birth verification during account registration
  • Accounts that fail age verification are prevented from completing signup
  • Users who misrepresent their age are subject to immediate account termination

3. Automated Detection

All user-uploaded images are scanned using automated detection technology before they are made visible on the platform:

  • Microsoft Azure Content Safety analyzes every photo upload for CSAM indicators
  • Uploads that meet or exceed the detection severity threshold are immediately rejected
  • The uploading account is automatically suspended pending review
  • Flagged content is never stored on or served from our platform

4. Mandatory Reporting

Gettit complies with federal reporting obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A:

  • Detected CSAM triggers a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline
  • Reports include all information required under federal law
  • We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
  • We preserve relevant evidence as required by law

5. Account Enforcement

When CSAE content or behavior is detected or reported:

  • The account is immediately suspended and access is revoked
  • All content associated with the account is reviewed
  • Confirmed violations result in permanent account termination
  • Phone number and account identifiers are permanently banned to prevent re-registration
  • We do not provide prior notice of enforcement actions related to CSAE

6. User Reporting

Gettit provides accessible in-app reporting tools so that any user can flag suspected CSAE content or behavior:

  • Report options are available on user profiles, photos, videos, and chat messages
  • Reports include standardized categories including "Underage" as a dedicated reason
  • All user reports are reviewed and actioned by our moderation team
  • Reports involving minors are prioritized for immediate review

7. Moderation and Review

  • Our moderation team reviews flagged content and user reports
  • An administrative dashboard provides tools for incident review, user investigation, and enforcement actions
  • All moderation actions are logged in an audit trail for accountability
  • Escalation procedures are in place for content requiring urgent attention

8. Content Moderation Resilience

  • If automated scanning services experience an outage, uploads are queued for review upon service restoration
  • A daily automated recheck process ensures no content bypasses moderation due to temporary service interruptions

9. Cooperation with Authorities

Gettit will:

  • Respond to valid legal process from law enforcement agencies
  • Preserve account data and content as required by law
  • Provide information to law enforcement investigating CSAE to the extent permitted and required by applicable law
