For Immediate Release
Gettit Shows You Who Viewed Your Profile for $9.99/Month — Tinder Charges $29.99 for the Same Information
March 9, 2026
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | March 10, 2026 | NEW YORK, NY
New York City, March 2026 — Gettit announces Who Viewed Me, a Plus-tier feature giving users a complete, timestamped log of every profile visit they’ve received — the kind of transparency that competing apps have turned into their most expensive premium upsell.
What Who Viewed Me Shows
The Viewers screen in Gettit displays every user who has visited your profile, with timestamps and profile previews. Views are recorded with a 30-second deduplication window — preventing noise from rapid repeat visits.
From the Viewers screen, users can immediately Spark back, send a message, or view the visitor’s full profile, converting passive interest into active opportunity.
The Competitor Paywall on Profile Visibility
| Platform | What You See | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Tinder Gold | Blurred silhouettes | $9.99/mo |
| Tinder Platinum | Revealed faces | $29.99/mo |
| Grindr Unlimited | View notifications | $29.99/mo |
| Hinge Preferred | Who liked you (not who viewed) | $34.99/mo |
| Bumble Premium | Right-swipes only | $17.99/mo |
| Gettit Plus | Full visitor log, timestamped | $9.99/mo |
“Hiding who liked you behind a paywall is one of the clearest examples of dating apps weaponizing your own social anxiety against you. You already matched with these people — they just won’t show you until you pay $30. We think that’s backwards.”
— Jax Sterling, CEO & Co-Founder, Gettit
Privacy Protections Within Who Viewed Me
Users who have activated Incognito Mode do not appear in others’ Viewers logs — their browsing is genuinely invisible. Blocked users are also filtered from the view. The 30-second deduplication prevents the feature from becoming a surveillance tool.
View data is included in GDPR data export requests and can be deleted as part of the standard account deletion flow.
Pairing With Sparks: Closing the Loop
Who Viewed Me pairs directly with Gettit’s Sparks matching system. A profile view is an implicit signal of interest; a Spark is an explicit one. The Viewers screen surfaces the implicit signals so users can decide whether to make them explicit — converting a one-way glance into a mutual connection with a single tap.
“Dating apps profit from information asymmetry — they know who likes you and they make you pay to find out. Who Viewed Me is our commitment to symmetry: it’s your information, about interest in you, and you should have access to it.”
— Jax Sterling, CEO & Co-Founder, Gettit
